December 2022 Charity Corner

The Charity Corner: 

This is the newest feature for our newsletter.  Council #664 presented checks from the May 2022 Tootsie Roll (I.D.) Drive with over $7800 distributed at the November council meeting to five local non-profits who help the intellectually disabled (I.D.) Council #664 is usually the top fund-raising Council in the state for this important event.  Thank you to all those who volunteered to make this a success.

Non-profits receiving checks included:

– Brooke Industries

   – The ARC (3 programs supported)

   – Fishing Has No Boundaries

   – Holy Family Special Needs CCD

   – United Singers

Representatives from each organization shared how these gifts are used, along with their gratitude for our council’s continued support.  We look forward to our upcoming drive in May 2023 and your participation in this important annual event.
