Brother Knights, we will be holding a Degree on April 10 at 9 a.m. at Avenue 795. A reminder that the new degree is only 35 minutes and is First, Second and Third Degree. The new format allows for family to come and watch. Invite those Catholic men in your life to join. Give me a call at 920-539-6735 to let me know if you are inviting someone so we can set up the room appropriately
As a Knight you can choose the projects with which you wish to be involved in within your own community. What is more, the Order is dedicated to family life and the many benefits it offers. From insurance to scholarships to service and social activities and programs, all are open to the whole family.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practical (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See.
A practical Catholic accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspires to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the Catholic Church.
You are welcome to participate as much as your time will allow you to attend meetings or volunteer activities. You may also decide to advance to the second through fourth degrees of knighthood, but that is entirely up to you. The honor guard is available for interested fourth degree knights.
Meetings are held the 2nd Tues of each month at 7:00 p.m.
We participate in several activities that support charity work in the Fond du Lac area. For instance, the annual Tootsie Roll drive supports local effort of groups involved with persons who have intellectual disabilities.
Some social activities include: fish frys, ...
No. If you join decide to join, the council has a Ladies Auxiliary that she could join.
There are four degrees within the Knights of Columbus. Each degree ceremony imparts a lesson on the Order's core virtues of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
